I am a lefty but for 34 years in the business I have used right handed shears. I have bought leftys on occasion from other company's but due to being used to rights shears, I had so much trouble with them...until now. Butter shears are amazing. I got the lefty shear hoping I wasn't wasting my money...but since they were so affordable, I went with it anyway. I have never in my life used a lefty shear that worked so well. The only thing g that would make it better is if they offered a 5.25 inch shear. 2.5 is a little longer than I usually use...but I am getting used to them rather quickly.

I have only bought one shear almost my whole career which is going on 40 yrs, and they are made with Japan steel. These are cutting beautifully, its been one week and I am really liking them. Hope they stay sharp.

Butter Shears is amazing. I consider myself pretty handy with a knife sharpener but I have never been able to get them as sharp as Butter Shears. They did such a good job. My shears and knives have never been sharper. Not only were the shears and knives incredibly well sharpened but the service was phenomenal too.
